10 Common House Plants and How to Care for Them







Ten common house plants and how to care for them.

PhilodendronLeaves droopToo hot and dry / soak thoroughly, move to a cooler spot.
Leaves turn yellowToo wet / check drainage holes, let dry between waterings.
FicusLeaf dropToo wet / allow soil to dry before watering. Too cold / move to brighter, warmer place.

Brown leavesHot, dry air / use cool mist humidifier.
Lanky leavesToo dark / move to brighter spot.
Boston FernSpindly frondsPot is too big / let it get root bound. Fertilize.
